M5NS - Mobile 5G Network System

NXG’s M5NS is a turnkey 5G network solution that provides improved quality of service versus existing coverage. It is a MU-MIMO system that supports 8 DL layers and 4 uplink layers for maximum flexibility and bandwidth. Available as a PCB, the M5NS can be integrated with a variety of different RF front ends and antennas to provide sectorized or omnidirectional coverage.
NXG has developed a flexible Mobile 5G Network System (M5NS) that supports all 5G RAN components (CU/DU/RU) on a single consolidated platform. This platform currently supports multiple frequency bands in FR1 and 3GPP Release 15/16 (with FR2 bands and Release 17/18 Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) in our roadmap). ORAN interfaces and flexible APIs are also supported for the integration of applications on premise and/or via remote management.

The M5NS is a software defined platform that can be configured as a:

  • gNodeB (available in either a 0, 6, or 7.2 RAN split) or
  • A data modem (for automotive, rail, and high speed UAS applications) or
  • An Integrated Access Backhaul (IAB) for device-to-device support.
